673 Expotab WAEC 2020 Government is a program affiliated with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to explore the impact of their educational programs on West African countries. The program was conducted from April to June 2020 in most West African countries. The main prospective of this program was to ascertain the impact of WAEC’s educational policies, strategies, and activities in the six participating countries, which are Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Togo, and Benin.

This was achieved by the conduct of an assessment survey with selected stakeholders such as teachers, parents, students, supervisors, curriculum developers and WAEC staff members in the six countries.

The survey assessed overall students’ performance in selected WAEC examination results such as the Junior School Certificate Exams (JSCE), Senior School Certificate Exams (SSCE), and the Nov/Dec Exams. From these survey results, 673 Expotab WAEC 2020 Government team identified the areas of improvement for their educational programs.

The survey also revealed several challenges that are common in participating countries. These challenges arose from budgetary constraints, inadequate infrastructure and materials, and a need for qualified teachers. It was also determined that the implementation of WAEC guidelines and standards needs to be met in many cases. Principals and teachers needed more guidance and support in implementing WAEC’s policies and strategies.

Information obtained from the assessment survey indicates that students’ performance in Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Togo and Benin has improved considerably since the last WAEC expo in 2015. This is mainly due to greater commitment by WAEC to implement its educational strategies and policies in the participating countries.

Another result of the 673 expotab waec 2020 government is the development of a benchmark for measuring student performance and achievement in the six participating countries. This benchmark identifies the best-performing countries based on their performance in the Junior School Certificate Examination, Senior School Certificate Examination and the Nov/Dec Examination.

The results from this benchmark will be used to meet the WAEC curriculum and assessment standards. 673 Expotab WAEC 2020 Government also proposes to develop a comprehensive plan for each state to identify their needs and the best strategies to meet them. This plan is expected to improve student’s performance in the examinations and the overall quality of education in the six countries.

Overall, 673 Expotab WAEC 2020 Government has provided essential data and feedback regarding student performance status and the impact of WAEC’s educational initiatives. The insight gained from this program will be used to
