673 Expotab WAEC 2020 Government is a program affiliated with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to explore the impact of their educational programs on West African countries. The program was conducted from April to June 2020 in most West African countries. The main prospective of this program was to ascertain the impact of WAEC’s educational policies, strategies, and activities in the six participating countries, which are Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Togo, and Benin.

The survey also revealed several challenges that are common in participating countries. These challenges arose from budgetary constraints, inadequate infrastructure and materials, and a need for qualified teachers. Information obtained from the assessment survey indicates that students’ performance in Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Togo and Benin has improved considerably since the last WAEC expo in 2015. This is mainly due to greater commitment by WAEC to implement its educational strategies and policies in the participating countries.
