Path of Exile is an exciting game where players fight monsters, collect powerful gear, and try to get rich with valuable loot. When you reach the endgame, farming becomes very important to keep your character strong and to gather Path of Exile 1 currency that you can use to buy or trade for better items. In this guide, we will talk about three POE 1 3.26 farming methods that many players use in the late game to get great rewards. These methods are challenging but also very rewarding if you have a strong character and good gear.

Hard but Rewarding Blight Farming Strategy

One of the most popular late-game farming methods is called the Blight farming strategy. It focuses on running maps with many monsters and bosses, using special scarabs and map bonuses to increase the number of enemies and loot you get. This method is tough because the monsters can be very strong and you need to carefully place towers to slow or stun enemies. If you don’t have enough damage or your tower setup is wrong, you might die quickly.

Here is the main idea of this strategy:

  • Run open maps with many lanes to spawn lots of monsters and bosses.
  • Use scarabs like the Titanic Scarab (which increases monster packs), Blightart Scarab (for Blight rewards), and others that boost rare enemies or bosses.
  • Build towers that freeze, stun, or damage enemies, but remember you must also kill monsters yourself because towers alone cannot handle everything.

In your passive skill tree, focus on nodes that increase map quantity, rarity, and Blight bonuses. Avoid taking unnecessary points in Blight in Maps because they don’t give much benefit at this stage. Instead, take influence nodes like Eater of Worlds or Sirin Xark, depending on your build.

One important tip is to use an anointment on your ring that makes chilling towers freeze enemies briefly. This small freeze helps stop monsters and bosses, giving you time to kill them. Also, be careful about map mods that make enemies immune to chill or stun, because those will ruin your tower strategy.

During the map, build all your towers at choke points early and then focus on the boss lane once you see where the bosses come from. When the Blight ends, dismantle towers for a good amount of gold and loot.

Scarab TypeEffectWhy Use It?
Titanic ScarabIncreases number of monsters in large packsMore enemies means more loot and map drops
Blightart ScarabImproves loot explosion at the end of BlightHigher chance for rare and unique drops
Scarabs of Corruption & EscalationAdd corruption and increase map difficultyBoost map rewards and challenge
Titanic Scarab of TreasuresAdditional rewards and tougher unique monstersBetter loot from bosses, but harder fights

This method generates lots of eight-mod corrupted maps, which are very valuable. You can either use these maps yourself or sell them for a good profit. Remember, this is a risky approach and you need to be ready to face tough enemies, but the payoff can be huge in terms of currency.

Strong Boxes Farming: Easier and Consistent

The second farming method is all about opening strongboxes. These are special containers scattered around maps that can drop great loot. This strategy is simpler than the Blight one and can be done by many different character builds. It provides steady rewards and sometimes huge drops like multiple divine orbs or rare divination cards.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Run maps with good modifiers that increase strong box quantity and rarity.
  2. Use scarabs that increase ambush encounters and strong box drops.

This strategy doesn’t require expensive scarabs or gear, so it’s budget-friendly. You can clear the map first and then open all the strong boxes, or open them while exploring if you want to speed things up. Just make sure your character can handle the map mods and enemies.

Many players combine this with farming PoE 3.26 gear and items that drop from strongboxes, which helps improve their character or sell for currency. The strong box method is good because it gives regular loot and some exciting, big rewards.

Boss Rush and Quick Map Clears for Extra Rewards

The third farming style is more relaxed and uses the same passive tree as the strong box method. The idea is simple: when you get a map that is too hard or has annoying modifiers, instead of farming the whole map, you rush straight to the boss, kill it quickly, gather the fragments, and leave. This lets you use your time efficiently and still get valuable rewards from bosses.

Sometimes, you can use this method on juicy tier 7 maps (T7 maps) that you obtained from Blight or strong box farming. If the map has bad mods or is very dangerous, just rush through and avoid wasting time or risking death.

This fast boss farming is a great way to handle maps that don’t fit your other strategies without losing potential loot. It also helps keep your stash clean by using maps that would otherwise just sit there. While this doesn’t make as much currency as the other methods, it keeps your farming routine fresh and fun.

To improve your chances of success, always check map modifiers before starting. Avoid maps with mods that block your main damage types or defenses. Use scarabs like ambush to increase boss and monster rewards.

By combining these three approaches—hardcore Blight farming, steady strong box farming, and quick boss rushes—you can maintain a healthy flow of loot and Path of Exile 1 currency. This lets you keep your character powerful and ready for any challenge the game throws at you.

Remember, farming in Path of Exile is not just about making money but also about enjoying the game and trying different ways to play. These strategies balance risk and reward, making the game exciting for players who want to stay active in the endgame.
